Technical Animal Rescue (TAR)

 

Rescue 3's Technical Animal Rescue course teaches students how to safely and effectively rescue animals. Packed with practical, real world tips and tricks, this class allows students to walk away with the knowledge of how to deal with animals in both a flood and low angle environment. Subjects covered include

  • rescuer safety
  • animal behavior in rescues
  • basic first-aid for animals and
  • how to extricate and safely transport animals.

A must have course for any rescuer who may be called upon to rescue a cat from a tree or safely transport a dog from a roof top during a flood with the news cameras rolling.
