Instructor Courses
Rescue 3 International has been providing rescue training for over 30 years to individuals and agencies within the emergency service field as well as the boating community. In an effort to disseminate this training to as many people and groups as possible, Rescue 3 has the following instructor tracks available:
Upon successful completion of the instructor course and meeting the below general prerequisites, students will be qualified to teach courses within their organization or department.
General Prerequisites
The following are prerequisites common to all Rescue 3 instructor courses. Additional prerequisites are required for each specific class.
- Current EMT, Paramedic, Wilderness First Responder, or other pre-approved medical certification
- Recommendation letter from an active, independent Rescue 3 Instructor
- Either complete a teaching methodology course or have validated teaching experience from a recognized training organization
- Complete the Medical Application for Instructor School
- Be in good physical condition and free of chronic medical conditions
- Have strong swimming ability (for instructors teaching water courses only)
- Submit a resume to Rescue 3's corporate office
